Where the shop is, how to get there, what to expect when you pull in, and why being on the west side of Odessa suits the vehicles we work on.
If you live or work in West Odessa, we are the body shop down the road. If you are anywhere else in Ector County, we are a few minutes off the interstate. Here is exactly where we are, how to find us, and what it is like to pull into the lot for the first time.
The address
Galindo's Body Shop, 7033 W 24th St, Odessa, TX 79763. Phone (432) 220-3243. We are on West 24th Street, west of town, a couple of minutes from the I-20 frontage road. There is a map on the main site, and the address works in any navigation app.
Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 8 PM. Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM. Closed Sunday.
We open at 7 on weekdays because that is when the trucks roll out. A drop-off before work and a pickup after it both fit inside the day, which matters when your vehicle is the one you drive to the job.
What happens when you pull in
You do not need an appointment for an estimate. Park, come in, and someone will walk out to the vehicle with you. The estimate is free, takes about fifteen minutes, and you leave with a written sheet you can take anywhere, including to your insurance company or to another shop. Nothing gets scheduled until you say so.

What we do here
Everything under one roof: estimate, teardown, metal work, paint and reassembly, all on W 24th Street, not at a subcontractor across town. Collision repair, hail and dent removal, paint and color match, bumpers, doors and quarter panels, and work trucks. We have been in the Permian Basin for over 40 years and we are owner-operated. The person who writes your estimate is the person answerable for the work.
Why the west side suits the work
A lot of what comes through our door is a pickup, a crew truck or a service body coming off a lease road. Being west of town means the trucks heading out to the field pass us on the way, and a unit with damage can drop in on its way back rather than making a dedicated trip into the middle of town. Fleet work, collision and maintenance together, is a growing part of what we do for that reason.
It also means we know what the roads out here do to a vehicle. Caliche, cattle guards, deer at dusk on a two-lane. We see the results every day.
If you cannot drive it here
Call and tell us where it is. The tow from a crash site to the shop is on us. That covers Odessa, West Odessa, Midland and Ector County. Give us the location, what the vehicle is, and whether it rolls, and we take it from there. The vehicle ends up in our lot where the estimate happens, instead of at a storage yard charging by the day.
Insurance
Every carrier is welcome, and you choose the shop, not the insurance company. Give your adjuster our name and address and we handle the claim from there: estimate, supplement, parts approval, settlement. You pay the deductible at pickup.

The shop has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking.
The neighbors
West Odessa is not a franchise strip. The businesses out here are mostly owner-run and have been for a long time, and we are one of them. If you are looking for the shop, look for the building on W 24th, not for a sign with a national logo on it.
Before you come
- Bring the vehicle, or three photos.
- Bring your claim number if you have already filed.

Everything else, we sort out at the counter.
FAQ
Is there parking for a trailer if I bring a vehicle in on one?
Yes, there is room in the lot. Call ahead if it is a large trailer and we will make sure there is space when you arrive.
Can I leave the vehicle after hours?
Call first. We would rather meet you than have a vehicle sitting in the lot overnight without paperwork.
Do you work on cars, or mostly trucks?
Both. Personal vehicles and oilfield fleets alike. A Mustang and a crew cab get the same booth and the same process.
How do I get there from the east side of Odessa?
Head west on I-20 or on 42nd Street toward West Odessa, then to W 24th. The address in any map app gets you to the door. If in doubt, call and we will talk you in.
